1094 Survey of Ephesians - Rev. Charles Watkins

Focus on the book of Ephesians, with emphases on the authorship, date, and recipients of this letter.  This letter, while confirming the role of Christ in the church, also highlights responsible Christian living and unity in Christ.       
                                                            
8013 Preventing Burnout in Children's Ministry -  Mrs. Vernita Phillips

Prepare leaders to work effectively with children in ministry by using the appropriate resources (people and technology).  They will study the idea of "shared responsibilities"

as a means for preventing ministry burnout.

                     
2060 Reaching and Keeping Those Under 40 - Rev. Treyvon Sinclair

Focus on the practical, simple ways of discovering the needs and interests of young adults. Emphasis will be placed on the developmental process of this age group, and the problems peculiar to them.  Focus on methods that will assist the church to more actively involve young adults in the mission and work of the church.  

    
9914 Connecting the Local Church to the Community (Evangelism) -  Rev. Carl Heard

This course will examine the mission of the church to serve the community.  Consider the biblical mandate for the church to be missionaries to the community and serve the spiral nature of the church, thus creating an incentive to reach out as servants to the community.  
                                                                  

5003 The Leadership Style of Christ -  Rev. Archie Ivy

Reveal the shepherd spirit of Jesus Christ.  Students will learn from His example how to engage in His form of leadership.
                                                            
7011 Developing A Discipleship Ministry -  Rev. Edward Thomas

Explore the various ways to assist the local church leader in recruiting the proper people and tools to build an effective discipleship ministry.  Provide the church leader with a view of diverse models of discipleship ministries that will allow the church leaders to view various models of discipleship.
